I have a weird thing happening.

I recently format and reinstall winxp home on another system
Updated Xp etc

Now I noticed something very strange while in windows.
If you hit the l key when either typing saying google or by itself it will act if I was pressed Winkey+L to lockdown/go to welcome screen.
If I capitalize the L then nothing happens.

This also happens with the m key. If I hit the m key by itself it performs Winkey+M minimize.

It's if the winkey is some how is locked down mode.

I've tried a usb keyboard/ps2 keyboard they both do the same thing.
Is their something in windows that is causing the Winkey to be automatically pressed

This is odd, Sounds like it could be a keyboard decoder issue since you have tried two different keyboards, or did you use a PS2 Adapter and use the same keyboard. If you used a keyboard adapter I would say the winkey is stuck. I don't know of anything in Windows that would cause this problem.

Oppps I forgot about the sticky keys function... Here Turn it off:

When a shortcut requires a key combination, the StickyKeys feature lets you press a modifier key, such as Shift, Ctrl, Alt, or the Windows Logo key, and have it remain active until another key is pressed.

To activate StickyKeys

1.
Press the Shift key five times. A dialog box opens with instructions on how to set up the StickyKeys feature.

2.
If you click OK, an icon (a group of squares) appears in the notification area.

To turn off StickyKeys, press the Shift key five times.[/B]
