Assuming you have a local bank (Bank of America, Wells Fargo, US Bank, Washington Mutual, etc.) walk into the branch and tell them you want to initiate an international wire transfer in USD currency. Please contact Guns And Guys Co. and ask them to re-verify HSBC's SWIFT code it should be HSBCHKHHHKH not HKBCHKHHHKH. Here's how you would fill out your bank's wire transfer form (print this out and bring it with you):
[This is in SWIFT MT100 format]
Beneficiary Bank: The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd.
Tung Choi Street Branch
2F - 2H, Tung Choi Street, G/F., Mongkok, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
SWIFT: HSBCHKHHHKH
Beneficiary: Guns And Guys Co.
Beneficiary A/C: 004-461-7-024163
Remember that you are going to be charged a wire transfer fee and so is the beneficiary, this is standard bank practice.
Anyone else here have wire transfer experience and wanna chime in?
