Wired IP on my wireless Router?!?

I'm having a curious problem.. well, i don't even know if it is a problem since i can still use the Net....
My wireless router (subnet 192.168.2.1) is plugged into my normal router (subnet 192.168.1.1) which is plugged into the internet. (Both are Linksys)
Simple enough... But when my laptop acquires a wireless IP half the time it takes 192.168.2.101 and half the time it takes 192.168.1.101. And for some reason it ONLY works when it takes the IP from the NON-wireless subnet.

I just don't get it. I know my wireless router is assigning IPs of the 192.168.2.x subnet, and i know that my main router is assigning out of 192.168.1.x. But since my laptop is connecting wirelessly, i don't see why it would acquire a 192.168.1.x IP or why it would only work when it did.

Any ideas?
Just theories that i can test would be fine with me.

huh... you ask a good question... why am i?

haha, guess i can fix that when i get home from work..

Though if at all possible, i would like to figure out why my wired router is assigning IPs as if my wirelss router were transparent.

You should only have a single device on a physical subnet handing out IP addresses.
