The Nokia 7610 went up $300 and the Motorola MPx220 went up $160 and the LG F9100 went up $100 and the Blackberry went up $50, and rebates appeared for all of them. All of those phones have rebates on em

So confusing:
I'm on Verizon.
Can I buy one of the phones through this website with a new plan, and have my existing number (my contract is up, i'm just paying month to month) ported to the new phone? If so, this is awesome.

I would have said they shut down this discount link, but I'm looking and all the rest of the ones listed are still at the no-rebate prices.

I would say.
Port number over to T-mobile or Cingular.
You have like 30 days to decide to keep the service and what not.
Cancel.
Port back over to Verizon ?
not too sure how feasible taht would be but it may be an idea.
$50 cash back is pretty standard for this phone right now (Letstalk, A1, Wirefly, Amazon, Intelenet, Cellularchoices, etc.). But as the original post states, this link has the best prices without any rebates required. In the case of the 6230 and the other Cingular deals, the benefit is not huge (as isekii pointed out, the Mpx220 and the 7610 were huge deals until they raised the price on those). Some of the T-Mobile and Sprint deals are more than $100 below anything else out there.Originally posted by: littlebitstrouds
Have none of you guys checked out www.letstalk.com? I'm making $50.00 on my nokia 6230 phone.

Example: The Motorola A630 with T-Mobile is $69.99 shipped.
Same phone is $299.99 from T-Mobile, $199.99 -$100 rebate from Wirefly normally, or $275+ on eBay without a service plan.
If it's any consolation I think the 6230 is the greatest phone out there.Originally posted by: isekii
I bought 4 x 6230's on letstalk.com
If I found out that inphonics had the 7610 for free without any rebates.
I probably would've jumped on that or the MPX220 deal instead.
Read the terms & conditions -- you have to stay 180 days to avoid the Wirefly early termination fee, which is $250. The reason is they get paid a commission by Cingular but only if you stay a customer that long. It could be that this is waived for people who buy through this Friends & Family link, but I just don't know.can I cancel my service after couple of months by paying $150 early termination fees? Will I be able to get the phone unlocked by then ?

I want that 7610 so badly but $300 in rebates is making me really gunshy. If only this was Amazon.
