Wireless and Wired together?

Here is what I have.....:
Office PC - wired
HTPC - wired
Kids PC - wired (currently wireless).
Laptop - wireless.

For the wired ones.....i want GIGABIT ...which I bought a Dlink Gigabit Switch. However I still need the wireless aspect. I know i won't get gigabit speed on it which I understand.
What i need to know is.....what is the way i set it all up to network them all and share the internet?

Is it this route .......
Cable Modem - > Wireless Router - > Gigabit Switch? If so......will they all be able to network together?

You have it more or less correct. You want any wired devices plugged into the gigabit switch, with a crossover cable running between the switch and router (it doesn't need to be a crossover if the router supports auto-crossover in hardware, which 99% of them do, but I always say better safe than sorry), and a cable running between the router's WAN port and the cable modem.

As far as "sharing the internet" the wireless router will handle that portion. File and printer sharing are another matter, but you didn't mention anything about that, so I'll assume that's the info you needed.

Perfect........thanks. Confirm that I 'would like ' true gigabit filesharing between all wired pc's............and of course all share the internet connection. Just have a laptop that I need to include in the picture as well......both for the internet and filesharing (so i can transfer espisodes of Grey's Anatomy to my wifes laptop!).

autoMDX is built into the gig standard, but only with GIG->GIG, it doesn't have to support AutoMDX for 10/100

yes it does. only one end of the link needs to swap transmit and receive.
