Wireless booster?

Who makes them?

This wireless G router frequency isn't going very far. I don't know how people could steal others bandwidth when I can't even get a signal at the neighbor's or the fence in the backyard.

A few people have mentioned wireless boosters to me, but I haven?t seen them anywhere.

My Limited experience with boosters shows.

Inside a House installing a booster or relplacing the Antenna on the device with no extention, would add few feet here and there, but it is usually not a comprehensive solution.

However Booster and external Antenna would do much better in an open envioroment, like large open house or warehouse, cubical office setting, and similar arrangement.

In most cases laying down CAT5 to a central open space and plugging at the end an additional Access Point will solve the problem.

However it is hard o give you an answer since the term ?isn't going very far? and ?neighbor's or the fence? are not of the numerical value kind.

This company stocks the stuff and usually it is possible to call and talk to real Tech maven.
