Folks,
I have a Linksys WRT54G Router set up with my cable modem. Right now it serves as the access point for my work laptop, using 128-bit WEP. The laptop works great, is set up as using DHCP.
I am trying to add my c. 1999 iMac to the connection using a netgear wireless Bridge (WGE101). The Bridge can see the wireless network, has the right WEP key, is on the right channel (6), but cannot get any response (sends packets but doesn't receive).
The Router is set up as a DHCP router with the range 192.168.1.100 --> 103.
The laptop consistently uses a number in this range.
Do I set up the bridge with dynamic IP? the iMac? both?
