wireless internet connected but can't use

i set up too many time on connecting 2 computer on a wirelss router and i have a wirless cardbus for my laptop, here's the thing, i can see the internet connection icon at the tasbar and i see it detected the other pc but how come when i try to do a browse the net it won't let me?

Your network set-up right? Can you see files on the other computer? Sounds like they might not be on the same network.

May be your browser is set to Always Dialup connection.

Or it could be a DNS problem. Define your connectivity first. Can you ping remote workstations?
