Wireless mouse with extra button on top?

Hello folks.

I've been using a Logitech Wireless LX7 for a good while now, but it's getting old and kind of unreliable (it wasn't super reliable as new either), especially the wireless part of it.

Here's a pic for reference.

So, I'm looking for a new (non-gaming) wireless mouse. It should have your regular 2 buttons and a wheel, but also at least one extra button on the top (the LX7 has 2, but I barely used the second one). But I can't seem to find any. It seems that all mice with more than 2 buttons are the kind with side buttons for thumbs. I've never been too comfortable with those, my grip is somewhere between claw and fingertip I guess, and the thumb buttons never quite align for me.

Any ideas? I've been scouring Logitech and Microsoft and so far haven't been able to find anything that fits my weird preference.

I don't have a problem with the middle click being behind the wheel, but I might have a problem with its size. That looks quite small.

While I was looking at it, the Marathon Mouse M705 started to look more appealing than it was before. Anyone got any experience with that one? The reviews I can find seems to suggest that it's a pretty good one, but I'm always a little suspicious of these oddly shaped mice. It has the programmable top button there, so that's a plus.

That's not really an oddly shaped mouse. I think it's smaller than standard but bigger than the Nano.

if you're looking for comfort-sized mouse with extra buttons,

Logitech MX1100 was the best size for my hand out of all the Logitech mice I tried on the store when buying it (it took me about maybe 2 hours to pick a mouse that time), and I've been using it for more than 2 years, really comfortable, wireless distance is good, laser tracking is really good, middle click IS NOT behind the wheel and battery life for me lasts more than 6 weeks with extensive usage (coding and gaming).

I have the rechargeable version, the non rechargeable version last twice that according to forum posts I've read - about more than 3 months.

(non rechargeable - i think, dunno if they've updated it)

(rechargeable only comes with the keyboard+mouse set)
