Wireless Network Bridge

Ok, so we're looking to share a T1 line with our neighbors, and this is what we are looking at doing:

T1 Router --> Wireless Access Point --> Directional Antenna on roof --> Directional Antenna on their roof --> Their wireless access point --> cables to their various computers.

Overall we expect the wireless signal to travel no more than 150ft, and we'll have about 25ft of cable on each end to each antenna (~2dbi loss in gain on each end i think).

So, first off, is this possible? Do I just set both WAPs with the same SSID and WEP key and they will act as a bridge?

Second, recommended equipment? And how much do you think this would cost? We were thinking about ~$2-300 is our budget, and looking around I think we should be able to make that. We already have the T1 Router, and one WAP (a cheap D-Link WAP and Router - would we need something better?)

You're splitting a T1 and 200-300 is your budget?

The idea is fine, I'm not sure that you've allocated enough money though, you have a clear line of sight right? I'll let someone else make an equipment recommendation, I've always thought the linksys wet11 bridges were cool because they're easy to hack for power over ethernet and just mount outside. I like buying antennas and cabling from http://www.fab-corp.com/ Don't forget some lightning protection.
