Hey, I have a question here:
Do I need any additional wireless equipment for better strength signal if I set up the wireless networking for my 3 neighbors.
Here is small diapgram of networking setup between 2 neighbors with the building obsruction and distance:
Neighbor---95ft---[small garage building]---55ft---My House---60ft---[small garage building]---30ft---Neighbor
I have successfully set up a wireless networking between me and 1st Neighbor using my Linksys WRT54G Wireless router (802.11G 2.4 Ghz) and neighbor3 receives about 95-98% of signal strength. Because of this, my 1stneighbor has no building obsruction and only 75 feet apart between us.
My main cocern for other 2 neighbors because of the distance factor and their garage might cause a signal obsbruction or great loss of signal when attempting to connect wirelessly between 2 of them and me.
If that is the case, what is the best solution to alleviate this problem for other neighbors?
Thanks,
Brad
