Wireless NIC for laptop suggestions!

Can someone please suggest some wireless access cards that i can use for my laptop? But the options are limited to cards that are widely available in stores like bestbuy and the like. Which is better.. linksys or netgear? thanks.

Netgear and Linsys are both comparable products. Dlink is comparable also. Just get whichever you find at a good price.

I highly reccomend the orinoco gold, (agere) dell has this in theor true mobile 1150, and it can be found for about $60.00. I've never seen them in B&M stores though

If your usage is within 20?-30? with no more then one wall. Buy the cheapest.

I have had great sucess with the Orinoca Silver. I decided to go with the silver over the gold since the only difference is the max WEP encription. But, since WEP is pretty insecure I chose the Silver and saved my self some money.
