Wireless Router Recommendation

Hi All,

We need a new wirless router in the house and i have no idea where to turn. I have a Linksys befw1184 and I reside in the attic of my house where a wired connection is used for 2 desktop computers. However on the 2nd floor and downstairs there are wireless connections being used. The signal strength is overall very poor downstairs and has been since the beginning, in and out connections regularly. The 2nd floor connection is half decent, but also has its small issues of stability. So I would love to hear anyones recommendations on a router suitable for this setup. It needs to be wireless but also have at least 2 wired connections for the desktops. It also will have to be in the attic so it needs a powerful enough signal to reach everywhere in the house. Its not a huge house in width/depth but it is 3 floors.

I was just looking for opinions. Like someone sharing their success who is in a similar situation as I, with Router X, etc. I think it would take you about as long as it took you to write out yer rant. Thanks for trying though.

yeah, but you could have looked down the page, or searched and found our opinions quicker then posting a thread and hoping we all visit and (yet again) right in our favorite routers/ap's/blah blah blah.

I don't mind asking opinions, but getting the same question over and over and over, when there are several similar topics on page 1 is annoying.
