Wirelessly accessing a printer that is connected to router?

I have this Brother printer, HL-2280DW. I noticed it is only 802.11b/g. My Wi-Fi is currently set to N-only.

I was wondering if I can connect the printer to the router by ethernet cable, and access the printer wirelessly through the router.

Anyone familiar with this stuff? I have not yet opened it because I'm too lazy.

You cannot has both with that printer AFAIK. Either go cable, or go wifi.
Of course you'll have to connect with cable first, just to configure the wireless.

I would say it depends on the router. Are you connecting via ethernet or usb to the router?

Works fine. Once the printer is setup to connect via ethernet, it doesn't care how clients connect over the network. Just install the brother software on the PCs and you're good.
