No you just can't help yourself but disparage your American counterparts.

Also why be "glad" that this isn't being discussed in the UK when at the same time you trust your fellow englishmen to follow the rules of hunting safety to a T? Aren't Englishmen responsible enough to know when a child is at a safe age to mentor?

Mainly because if you don't you risk 18-25 years imprisonment.

We don't take putting others at risk in such blatant manners as a laughable offence that no one cares about as you do.

I thought it was a good response.

This does not surprise me in the least. You simply do not have the mental capacity to perform risk assessment properly and that isn't strange at all considering that you belong to a cult.

What are the rules limiting the age of children in other states? (Sorry if that's already mentioned; I haven't managed to read all 200 posts yet.)

I wasn't aware that were any. If not, is this really the big deal the OP makes it out to be?

I don't know the law, but around here gun ranges typically say 10 years old is the limit. But, I asked nicely and spent a few bucks, they didn't seem to mind my son being nine at the times I brought him.

This whole thing is silly to me. Since the invention of firearms, 10 year olds have hunted and shot guns. Only recently do snowflakes get unraveled over such.

In what way? By sharing my views? Got a link? I am never verbally abusive, and believe that that is never useful. http://www.portvapes.co.uk/?id=Latest-exam-1Z0-876-Dumps&exid=threads/the-importance-of-p-n.2525784/

You are right, sorry, but with anti-gun wave in the forum I got testy about you being glad you didn't have a firearm available back in the days you were being bullied. I should have kept my trigger/typing finger where it belonged.

But apparently in the US silencers and bump stocks are absolutely needed on their poofta little M4 replicas and they don't really have to care about where the bullet goes if they miss.

what is wrong with hunting with a SUPPRESSOR?? and nobody hunts with a bumpstock, just STFU about bumpstocks.

The total number is far greater than that

so tell us fucktard, how many kids have killed people while hunting?

Guns don't kill people, kids with guns do.

again how many?

I don't actually think that adults in the US are much better than those kids considering that they have never had to qualify for a hunting licence and that most of them don't really seem to care about higher ground or background drops at all, nor do they seem to care that a couple of beers or some cognac to warm the chest makes their endeavour completely illegal and their idiotic behaviour reprehensible.

you are such a moron troll. you dont know jack shit of anything you flap your toothless gums about. ever hear of Hunter Education Training that is required for a hunting license? Somebody else already mentioned it but guess it didnt fit your narrative so ill say it again. in a HET class they teach you about hunting fundamentals like bullet trajectory

Read # 4 https://cpw.state.co.us/Documents/Hunting/HunterEd/Hunter-Sight-In-Practice-Tips.pdf

here is a bit of advice, shut the fuck up about things you know nothing about, get back on your high horse and just ride your sorry hollier than thou ass the fuck out.

Alcohol is damaging to developing brains of children. How responsible the child is is irrelevant. On the other hand, the danger of a firearm is completely dependent on the responsibility of the person using it, not the degree of physical development.

lmao all those responsible 3rd graders. Is this really how nutters think? Wow. Sad!

Absolutely nothing wrong with it with a responsible adult. I imagine in years past it wasn't uncommon for a 10 year old to go out with a firearm to help get dinner.

What year do you live in?

It is 2017, yes? Again, in YEARS PAST it was probably common. And I don't see a problem with it today. In fact, I bet every year tens of thousand (hundreds of thousands?) of children in this country shoot firearms, many of them while hunting. Around here some of the highschools even have shooting clubs.

My son is 4 and goes shooting with me all the time. He has his own kids sized .22 that he loves to shoot, a savage rascal, and is a pretty good shot. He is always safe, and knows the dangers of operating a firearm already. He is supervised closely of course - he is 4 - but he loves going shooting with me. He was even with me when I shot a buck last deer season, with a suppressed .308, and got to watch me clean it and take care of it.

Last time I took him shooting I let him squeeze off 30 rounds of suppressed 300 blackout subsonics, he really enjoyed that.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with teaching kids at a young age to respect and understand guns. Like I said, my kid has shot plenty, including handguns.

i agree, my dad (south pacific Navy Vet) and uncle (D-Day Army vet) taught me shooting starting around 5-6 with a .22 short rifle that was my grandpas, I cant tell you how many thousand of rounds i put through that gun when a box of 50 .22 short rounds cost .75 cents walking through the Arkansas woods as a teenager. i still have rifle and taught my kids to shoot with it.

If you define nutters as those that prefer to skip the hysteria and look at actual data for decision making, then yes, that is how they think. What is the rate of serious accidents per hour engaged in shooting for third graders with proper supervision? I'd love to see an actual study with data to better inform the decision, but until such a study is released, we are left to the informal data we have. I have heard very few stories of kids being involved in serious accidents involving firearms under proper supervision (ie not just finding a gun in a purse or laying around). I have heard of far more with many other recreational activities kids are involved in. Unfortunately, normalizing for the amount of time spent with each is pretty challenging, but it still leads me to believe that most of the opposition to this is an unfounded knee jerk reaction, not a well thought out evaluation of the risks.

I wonder if I could market kevlar lined disposable diapers to residents? Instead of having little flower patterns on them I could have all kinds of guns plus have a concealed carry pouch on the front with an extra absorbent liner so it doesn't get wet. I could even include a magazine pouch too.

OK I think I get it now. When you think of 3rd graders hunting, you are envisioning some alcoholic yokel parent telling the kids to go kill shit and be home in time for dinner.
