With World of Warcraft open beta ending today, how many of you will be buying it on the 23rd?

It depends on how many people sign up and play. Theres a break even point anything after that is profit.

I am going to have a rogue and a priest. Dunno what races yet.

Rogue = fun system of combat with combo points + finishing move, also interesting group dynamics with feint to pull monster aggro off spellcasters and get it back on the warrior where it belongs. Capability for mass damage (but poor defense).

Priest = awesome party player. Every group wants a priest, and this guy will play a lot in pickup groups for questing, even questing he's already completed. Just because I like playing in groups. I like the difficulty in managing aggro to keep up with your healing duties, but also try to keep the mobs from targeting you.

In this game race means very little besides appearance. If I end up alliance, I'll probably use gnome for the rogue (for the 'get out of snare free' ability) and night elf for priest (just because) If I go hoarde, probably both trolls or orc rogue and undead priest.

Priest are appreciated in a party, but the problem is that they need a partner to do quest/hunt

True, but if people are half as nice in retail as they were in the open beta it won't be a problem to find people to help me level. Most guys can level faster with 2 people vs. solo. Plus it's just plain more fun. Finding good random people wasn't much of a problem. Finding 5 for deadmines sure was. But after a week of OB play I had 3 good solid partners for just messing around and leveling. Unfortunately I didn't have any information besides their in-game name on that server, so who knows where they went.

I think it's just a matter of I'll be leveling doing Elite quests over and over vs. my rogue which will be leveling by doing solo killing over and over. That's part of why I chose those two. The significantly different play styles of the two classes will allow me to play how I feel like playing.

I saw one person post that they got it at WalMart on another forum. Don't know if it is true for sure or not...

Might not even go up the 23rd with all the employees at the frys place.
