Withdrawing Poker money...

I registered a FirePay account thinking I'd be able to withdraw my poker money from www.dsipoker.com. I was wrong. Apparently, you need to deposit money in order to withdraw money (I didn't deposit any money but I got money through the Tucker Max vs. Gorilla Mask tournament that didn't require payment in order to play, and had a large cash payout). Also, apparently you can only withdraw the amount of money that you deposited.

Yes, that's right. Say you get lucky and manage to get quite a bit more than the $25 you originally deposited via FirePay. YOU CAN ONLY WITHDRAW THAT ORIGINAL $25, NOTHING MORE.

STAY THE FVCK AWAY FROM FIREPAY.COM. They also have a startup fee that costs $6. What a complete waste.

Anyways, I wanted to know if anyone here had any information about www.Neteller.com. Is it legitimate? Is it really free to sign up? Any good/bad stories?

Thanks for your time.

AND ONCE AGAIN, STAY THE FVCK AWAY FROM FIREPAY.COM.

If you use neteller and do deposits with pacific poker, they'll cover the 8.9% deposit fee.

So the basic consensus is that NETeller is pretty legitimate and that they're safe to go with?

What about FirePay? I don't want to be a victim of identity theft in years to come - these guys asked for my social security #.

I've had no issues with firepay. However, i only use them to deposit which i haven't had to do in a long time *knockonwood*. i play on party poker and withdraw straight to my checking account.

The only problem I have with Firepay is that they have started charging a fee to withdrawal since I haven't deposited in so long.

for the lazy:
WASHINGTON, July 11 (Reuters) - The U.S. House on Tuesday approved a Republican-written bill to crack down on Internet gambling, in what critics said was an election-year appeal to the party's conservative base.

The House voted 317-93 to impose a ban on most forms of Internet gambling by making it illegal for banks and credit card companies to make payments to online gambling sites. Internet gambling generates some $12 billion annually worldwide, half from American gamblers.
