Wither ATI Radeon 256?

Well its been many months since the big announcements of a summer release. Has anyone seen a datasheet a price or general availability date? I'm concerned about ATI's ability to deliver on its promises; want the card but am getting skeptical. Can anyone speak up?

ATI falls into the "I'll believe it when I see it" catagory. Oh well I hope they can finally get back to where they were, TOP of the game.

I hate to say it but the Radeon will most likely be another yawner in a long line of yawners from ATI. The Rage series and the MAXX are two recent examples, they can't hardly give the MAXX away now but it's pre release hype made it into some kind of Nvidia killer.
In ATI's defense, all their cards do just fine for light to medium gaming needs and have better 32bit visuals then Nvidia cards IMO. - M.
