I am in the process of doing so. I am about half done .. They are doing the gathering thing with the Mud People.
What did you think of the book if you read it? As the first fantasy-type book I've gotten into, I think it's very creative and imaginative, but probably due to my own lack thereof. One thing I did notice though, is there are many spelling mistakes! Even my father, who is French, noticed this!
He made the loose/lose mistake ... Pretty unacceptable for an author if you ask me. It was supposed to be lose, but it was written "loose". I understand that it's possible that the author's mother tongue was not English, but in such a case, why would he be writing English novels?
Anyway, so far the book is very good, it keeps you reading and reading. If you start reading this thing at 11pm, don't expect to be asleep before 2:30am.
I started two days ago from the beginning, and got to Chapter 8 that night (around 2:30am) and had to go to school waking up at 7am.
Now I think I'm around page 360-400, I'm not sure, haven't kept track exactly...
Well I got a scare when Richard thought Kahlan had been lost in the pass to the underworld.. hehe, I was like "WTF, HOW COULD HE KILL HER OFF???".. The book wouldn't have been the same without her.. But she'll probably end up dying anyway.
Well, I gotta go, CS class will be over and I have to go to lunch, then my next classes! PM or email me if you wanna contact me personally, as I may lose this thread (to the underworld, hehe) and not be able to find it again.. I may not be able to find it next time I have access to the net.
Well, see "y'all" later.
