Here's a side question...if you were CCW'ing, would you have started shooting?
In a fight, they typically happen very quick and it's hard to figure out wtf is going on, who is victim and suspect....but I'd like to think that if you are watching someone helplessly get curb stomped, that someone would have the balls to stop the threat.
I wonder if someone (not necessarily a CCW) or several people just stood by and let it happen :\

A 25-year-old Santa Ana woman was charged with murder Wednesday in the beating death of a woman waiting with friends outside a popular nightclub.
Vanesa Zavala will be arraigned Wednesday afternoon at Central Justice Center in Santa Ana, the Orange County District Attorney's office said in a statement.
Prosecutors said they will ask the judge to hold Zavala on $1 million bail.
Zavala, who was arrested Monday, is one of the five people suspected of attacking 23-year-old Kim Pham outside the nightclub, the Crosby, in downtown Santa Ana.
Three women and two men are believed to have assaulted Pham after an argument broke out outside the nightspot, said Cpl. Anthony Bertagna, spokesman for the Santa Ana Police Department.
No other arrests have been made.
The incident was captured on video, some of which has been reviewed by police. Detectives are asking any other witnesses who saw or recorded what happened to come forward.
Pham was declared brain-dead shortly after she was admitted to the hospital and was taken off life support Tuesday afternoon.
Police haven’t said what prompted the argument, but friends of Pham said the argument may have started after she accidentally stepped in front of a camera as a group of men and women posed for a photo.
