YOLO!

lol good one, alkemyst. I guess I am kind of out there.

I was just making a joke. Suggesting that instead of explaining to them reasons why we might prefer a lower post per page display, it would be better to just act like you changed the settings to what they want you to use. Basically implying that's what I might have done instead of having changed mine as I just claimed (though I really am currently on 75per on a trial basis). No hard feelings.

Of course, 12GB is nothing to an ISP proper. I have to use my hotspot in greenfield territory plus have 5 iPhones in my household.

According to an ISP proper, 12GB is waaay more than the average user consumes.

and, lol at 5 iPhones, use those data plans that you're already paying for!

Not sure why you are attacking me now since I was one of the only people trying to help you in Apple forums.

12GB is more than an average user consumes, I didn't say otherwise.

I am not an average consumer since my job has me needing data all day while I build the infrastructure, plus 4 more consumers in my household that love data outside the home.

I pay $350 a month for this not counting my home internet. I don't expect a free lunch.

You got the wrong guy. I do not venture into the Apple forums.

No attacks, just curious. Especially with how ISP's are always changing.

$350/month? wow, that's ridiculous. That's not lunch.

I am on Verizon, I have 5 iPhones for each of my family members and I am about 75% of it for work.

My home data is a combination deal so I have no idea the bandwidth max. I don't pretend I am not downloading porn all day so I need a 1TB limit a month. I do a lot online and my plan at home works for everyone here.

We like watching TV shows like the Black List yesterday that is legal to download.

Edit: the other guy is just Cheez. Sorry for the confusion.

Our kids play multiplayer when done with homework, one does redbox on her phone at times.

Cool. I'm all for my home network sustaining our usage. When it comes to mobile Internet, I'm stingy. If I'm doing it for work, they're paying for it.

We use our home network, from Comcast, to watch Netflix, and do regular tasks. We use anywhere from 100-200GB each month. I've pushed it to 300GB when we watched a bunch of HD movies from Amazon Prime in one month.

My work covers $150/month. I still have to pay the difference.

I was just speaking to mobile data. I have no problems with my plan non-cellular.

Not everyone is a home-body here.

Because this thread is now about Alkemyst, as usual. Plus, you obviously don't even lift. Bro.

Do you have data at your office?

I don't have an office, I am a consulting engineer.

I try to stick with 50 at a max. Not so much weekends as working some after 5pm.

Try to stick to the topic though.

"data at the office" = some customers have WLANs/LANs for guests/vendors to use.

Work provides a Verizon hotspot for mobile internet for the mobile office (car). I have no idea how much data I push through it a month...but it's all work related.

Yea, back on topic

I deal in green fields like I already stated. There is no data at my office except what I bring.

I'm going to defend this woman because I think it's the only correct and civilized response to this situation. The fact that she wore this costume and tweeted it to her friends may have been silly on her part. However, it was wrong of her to lose her job over it. She has freedom of expression in her private sphere. Also the place she worked for didn't seem to have an issue with it at the time. Finally, the people who caught wind of this picture and got all hot and bothered over it waged a massive cyber bullying campaign against her. She got punished by lynch mob rule.

To put it into perspective, I think you'd be hard pressed to find any member on this forum who hasn't posted something stupid or offensive at one time or another. How would you feel is someone took an "offensive" post you made in P&N and used it to wage a campaign to take away your job? Probably pretty bad, victimized even?

At some point, we decided as a society that mob rule it the correct rule. Which history has shown is rarely the case. Just proves you just need a couple hundred people to be sufficiently "outraged" to take away someone's living and destroy their lives. Each one of these people who attacked this woman should be charged with stalking.

Well, at work, she is no longer in her private sphere. But once that article got into the internet "justice" bits, I found it hard to read and I agree with you.

Going after her like that is no more classy than what she did--much worse, in fact.

I don't disagree with the firing, though. Very, very poor decision. But I am not sure if that happened only because of the insane amount of negative publicity (most likely).

a woman at my job once dressed as a "homeless person" and even brought like a dirty tent and a bunch of newspapers and such for our costume contest. a like 40 year old woman to boot.

poor taste, but i dont think anyone even said a word about it.

i dont think she should have been fired, but someone say older should have at least taken her aside early in the morning and maybe told her mabye it wasnt the best idea and she could take the costume off. 22 year olds do dumb stuff.
