God damn I wish I hadn't read the details of that story on what she did to those animals. That is just fucked up.

The real fucked up part is the people who actually get off on this kind of filth can't really help it. It is just a brain wiring thing, and it is terrible. Nothing you can really do to change that.

But I wouldn't mind using these people as human lab rats and carve apart their brains to see what's wrong with them.

Seems fitting, don't you think?

seven years isn't long enough, someone that sick should be locked up for life.

The real disturbing part??

A federal judge had originally dismissed the prosecution, saying the footage was constitutionally protected. A federal appeals court reversed, and the US Supreme Court declined to revisit the issue.

Seriously. Fuck that judge. Perhaps the defendant can "step on his eyes with high heels" for some of that "constitutionally protected" snuff filming.

Something I have been thinking about on the side - and this is rather completely off-topic but a worthy mention. Note: I don't in any way condone what the OP story is about, see my first post#4

But... In this country I am getting a little sick of the praising of cat/dog lives as if they are in some higher order of animals. Countries like china find dogs to be a delicious food, yet people here will contribute to dog/cat animal rescue organizations more than worrying about human lives. Dogs/Cats are expendable. I know, because I have 20+ strays running around in our neighborhoods that I run into daily while walking my dogs (which were strays, btw). I see dogs/cats that are treated better than humans in cuddle strollers that their owners push them around in... It just seems a bit odd... when in reality it's just another animal, you just find the concept of eating that type of meat to be gross and find animals like cows to be delicious.

Just curious on what AT thoughts are, I'm not exactly swaying any opinion in one general direction, just curious on other's thoughts on this.

Probably best to move this question to a new thread. Trying to have a discussion on this topic in a thread about sadism won't work out too well.

Really wish I'd scrolled down to read this before clicking that link. I really was fine not knowing that kind of thing existed, or at least the details as I guess I was vaguely aware that such things but naively assumed it was limited to things like chicks. Not that that's any more acceptable, but imo requires a much smaller level of broken to pull off versus what I just read.

Very much this. Literally upset my stomach. Prison is not sufficient for this lady, she needs lifelong institutionalization. She is absolutely "broken" and I suspect will not be "fixable."

there is a difference between killing animals that are nuisances (generally quick/painless), versus very painfully and slowing killing them for your own or someone else's pleasure. and yes, cats and dogs do get additional value because they are pets for us.

but take pigs, for example. farm pigs are killed in some pretty gruesome manners, and despite not being pets, people objected to the ways in which they were put down (such as being smacked on a floor).

That is really messed up.

Understatement of the year.

You are trolling, newby.

Maybe someone should kidnap him and film the process of torturing him. It'll be constitutionally protected.

That's a joke, not a suggestion. Two wrongs don't make a right.
