It boggle my mind that the tough-assed nerds here condone the beating of a woman by a felon.

Maybe their balls haven't dropped yet.

It's woman hating/fear; they are looking for any chance to let it out that women should be punished.

All the women in this thread, especially Rubycon, are wrong. If the woman swung first (it wouldn't surprise me considering she's from the poorest part of the Bronx where ghetto mentality is a badge of honor) then she has the right to get smacked. End of story. The guy also has the right to confront her and ask her to move. Me? I wouldn't have even bothered because I care more about my car getting keyed/scratched than some parking space.

My point is if you act like a civilized person - a gentleman - and move on without making a scene none of this would have happened. How is that wrong?

Show me a video that shows this woman coming after this guy like a rabid baboon and perhaps things would be different.

This guy deserves a unique punishment such as being tied and gagged on a gurney and having a 200 watt soldering iron planted in his anus. The input voltage would then be ramped up slowly so that it takes no less than two hours to reach its peak temperature.

Human rights end when people don't act human any more. Take the trash to the incinerator, spread the ashes and move on.

Seriously, if he just drove around, kept his mouth shut and avoided a scene nothing would have become of this.

I do NOT understand road rage of any kind at all. It's just plain silly. If someone wants to pass or move over, just let them go. If they cut you off, move away and life goes on. This crap with flashing lights, flipping fingers, yelling, throwing apple pies, etc. is quite silly and dangerous.

You mean like not punching someone first? We don't know the whole story but if she physically assaulted him first then she deserves your contempt.

They're both in the wrong. She got what she had coming, and hopefully he gets what he has coming.

He stopped and got out of his car and took the law into his own hands, what part of that are you missing?

Forgot to mention, I was parallel parking into a spot on an extremely busy street one night, and I basically always do side mirror to side mirror and back it in.

Some older couple behind me zoomed into the spot while I clearly had my signal on, and he wasn't even parked in, he just got in it all crooked like someone cutting in line.

Thankfully my rear window was not tinted so he could clearly see my cabin gesture to please get the @#%@# out of my spot

You should learn how to park. It's incredibly stupid to pull past your intended parking target and then back into it. That method was invented when there weren't many cars on the road. It's been decades since that method has needed to have been reinvented.

Good thing it has, eh? Pull front-first into the spot. It's safer, faster, and a hell of a lot more practical instead of seeming to the car right behind you that you are going to skip the parking spot, then suddenly stop, then have to back up into it when the car behind you is already right next to the parking spot, locking you out.

Don't be a dumbass. Pull head-first into parallel spots.

It's illegal to argue with someone? It's illegal to ask someone to move because what they're doing is illegal? She was already breaking the law by standing in that space. She may have also broken the law by assaulting him.

When was the last time you punched a litterer? ran over a jaywalker?
This "breaking the law" justification does not hold water. Leave that for the law enforcement to deal with.
Does it count if I fantasize about doing such things?

Fortunately (unfortunately?) we can't go around murdering every person who throws garbage on the street. Doing that would be more enjoyable than sex, but it would still create a society where you would expect other people to kill you for things you didn't even know you were doing. Accidentally run a stop sign = some angry guy killls you?

Woman likely didn't know that holding a parking spot is illegal.

Totally serious. I park head-first. I park really damn fast, flawlessly, and I avoid impeding traffic by doing so.

if he got out and hit her first he should spend a LONG time in jail. IF she hit him first i don't feel sorry for her at all. i don't give a rats ass she is 4'11 she does not have the right to touch anyone.

though he made the mistake of getting out of his vehicle. he shouldn't have and his violent past is not going to help him.

That's great if the parking space has a lot of extra space behind it, but there is no way you're going to fit a car into a car-sized space head first unless your back wheels can turn 90 degrees and slide the back end in.

If there's not enough room to park, there's no reason to try parking there.

Also, I don't drive a boat.

Besides, you don't just pull head first and just STOP, you continue to jockey forward and back if you need to line the car up or get the ass out of the way (but you know this because you're not that dumb). Part of learning to park is learning when a spot is too narrow.
