To be fair, the owner(s) of the company doesn't really have a way to really guarantee that someone at their company won't sexually harass or be accused of it. The only way to be absolutely sure that you aren't liable is to make it an all male or female workplace.
Harassment arbitration clause.
That aside, this could be a wake up call for businesses to stop hiring attractive women based on their looks. Attractiveness is part personal maintenance but also part how you dress and act so if a woman wants to convey that, it is unprofessional and makes them an unsuitable candidate for the position.
On the other hand I'm old school. If a woman wants to exude sexuality and then complains that others react to it, it's a bit like holding a steak in front of a dog and complaining that you didn't give the dog permission to lunge for it. Some guys are dogs, and some women are (nevermind, lol). Solution is don't tempt the dog.
You can argue that it shouldn't have to be that way but it is that way. There will always be a certain % of the population with worse self control than everyone else.
Looks like #metoo is having an effect.
Yep, people are feeling threatened into making up fake company stories to try to discredit #metoo
Riiiight. You know it is fake.
No. The way to ensure that you are not liable is to comply with laws w/r/t employer obligations and liability for sexual harassment. (i.e., clear written policies, training, HR reporting processes, etc.) Then you're not liable for your employees being pervy assholes. To be fair, the owner(s) of the company doesn't really have a way to really guarantee that someone at their company won't sexually harass or be accused of it. The only way to be absolutely sure that you aren't liable is to make it an all male or female workplace.
That's much more likely than a company really deciding to violate federal law and intentionally get rid of all of their female employees, while hiring only men from now on.
He didn't say they were getting rid of the females that were already hired. Just not hiring any more.
You are being naive if you think that #metoo is not having an effect on the employment of females. I will say that they are stupid if the make statements as said in the OP.

Wonder what planet the producer of that video is from. I've seen women (girls) do all of that except for starting off an unsolicited, (completely) nude pic exchange. It's not so rare, especially when two or more women are congregating.

I wrote nothing about "more", are YOU just trolling? So you're really saying that girls cat call dudes more than dudes cat call?
I just feel like you're trying to troll now.

What I'm really saying is what I wrote. The video producer is either ignorant or just aiming for youtube traffic to suggest that women don't do those things. The video was not "what if women did this more than men". It was "If girls hit on guys like guys hit on girls" when girls DO hit on guys like that... maybe it's mostly the trashy women, but the same could be said about the men who do it.
Men will always harass women and sometimes women will harass men (and other women). Those robots can't arrive fast enough.
We were told that all our branches are doing this and the three year goal is to reduce female employees to around 5% or less. All the standard cautions about firing and hiring due to discrimination were made.
Couldn't the company have achieved the same goal with no more male hires?
