Nah, I don't fold my bras either. But I wash them and they smell nice, and unlike shirts/pants which I fold or hang, it doesn't matter if panties wrinkle.

I own only a pair of underwear and wash them every time in the shower.

This methodology allows for accomplishment of some crucial points:
A) I am saving and conserving laundry utilities, both water and electricity. Thinking of the big green environment and my contribution.
B) Underpaid sweat shop workers are not receiving any payment which further allows them less resources to continue their services.
C) I get to neatly fold and dry them each time and enjoy a cool breeze floating amidst my loins.

There would seem to be no point, unless you're desperately low on space in your dresser. I see the primary purpose of folding to be to cut down on wrinkling in storage.
1) No one's really going to see your underwear when you're out and about, so it doesn't really matter.
2) If they do, they're probably not going to be thinking about wrinkles in the underwear.

There would seem to be no sense spending time doing something that has no practical value, other than bragging rights or a terrible pickup line.

Socks and underwear both get tossed into the same drawer.
