Woohoo! 3 monitors rock!

I have a 19" LCD monitor that was given to me gathering dust next to my 19" Trinitron monitor.. I just can't really find a use for the 2nd monitor right now. Though, I was in a car accident two years ago and it pains me to turn my head even slightly for prolonged periods of time.

Though, when I worked at an engineering firm, two monitors was invaluable for editing grammar and organizing technical specifications in Microsoft Word all day..

I wouldn't mind setting up my 2nd monitor to be more of an 'information' post.. Like, have it always display updating sports scores, stock quotes, weather, movie times, etc etc...

when that 9100 w/ the 2405fpw for xxxx deal comes back im going to ruin most of you people's pride dual monitor setup when i add my 2005fpw with it.

I have a spare 1900FP LCD, not sure why I'd want a dual monitor setup.

Besides my desk isn't large enough and the 19" would be on analog not DVI.

How many times do people who have no idea what they are talking about have to come into these threads and talk about how useless having more than one monitor is?

If you do any real production work on a GUI system, multiple monitors can be a wonderful thing.

At work I often have 16-20 windows open and we have dual monitors. We're *begging* our supervisor to order us two new monitors each.

Maybe if you just play games and browse the web, then you might not need more than one monitor. but to say that having two monitors is "pretty much worthless" is asinine.

Nice setup. But I'd like multiple monitor setups more if they had a way so the casing around each monitor didn't interefere with the picture's continuity. Oh well, maybe someday!

LOL thats actually my backup case. If you look in the middle of my desk, right below my monitors, you will see my main computer in its own holder. As far as the cable management goes, I did the best I could. I have so freakin many cables that I couldnt do much with them initially. When I move next and have some help, then I can redo the cables.

My desk at my old crib... all 5 hooked together

LCD on top's vga ran to another box that was controlled by the computer with the other 4 monhtors via synergy... so.... all 5 monitors mousable
