I agree. Last year I went car shopping with my friend and he purchased the TL after agreeing the TL was the best one in the class.

The '05 is much improved over the '04, particularly the interior, and is a different car. The extra 28 horsies doesn't hurt either.

Congrats!

Now all you need is the OEM aero kit and some rims.

And to the person who asked, the G35x is not available in stick unfortunately.

Sweet coupe! I wish I could get the coupe but having a family, it would be completely impractical.

I was thinking about the aero kit but this stock G35 looked great.

It's not mine. I wish it was.

TL has only 270 horses so the G wins. However, the TL has killer navi and better layout for the instrumentations...love the blue speedometer and the voice activated/recognition feature.

Price?

Did you pay retail?

How long did you haggle, bicker, yell, scream and bargain?

go me. and congrats on the new car! is it the g35 or g35x?

When I read 298 hp I knew it was a 350 or a g35, picked the worst out of the 4 possibilities, 4dr g35.

It's still better than 95% of the other cars out there though.

Not bad. I prefer the 2door myself, but nice either way. Pretty fast car. I raced one from a light this morning on my way into work. It put up a good fight

Mind if I ask what you drive? Whatever it is, my roaring beast could never keep up with it. BTW, it only roars because of a hole rusted into the muffler.

Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

MODS:
3.25" Supercharger Pulley (stock is 3.8")
Ported Exhaust Manifolds
3" Downpipe
Full Exhaust
Hi-Flow Cat
Alcohol Injection
1.9:1 ratio rocker arms
Custom PCM w/ adjustable timing (currently running +2)
Custom Intake
Dual Piston calipers w/ 12" rotors
245/50/16 high performance summer tires (hopefully it doesnt snow too much )

I think that pretty much covers it. Runs around a 13.3sec 1/4 mile @ ~105

LOL!

You still remember that? I test drove a 330i just because I had those rims lying around so I could use them but I felt the G35 was a much better deal. Now I need to figure out what to do with those wheels. I wonder if I can put snow tires on them?

Ryan, how is it the worst one of 4? The G35x is auto only, has 280HP, skinny wheels and gets 15-17 mpg. I was originally going for the G35x but I really wanted the manual. The coupes were nice but out of the question when I have to put 2 child seats in the car.
