Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

MODS:
3.25" Supercharger Pulley (stock is 3.8")
Ported Exhaust Manifolds
3" Downpipe
Full Exhaust
Hi-Flow Cat
Alcohol Injection
1.9:1 ratio rocker arms
Custom PCM w/ adjustable timing (currently running +2)
Custom Intake
Dual Piston calipers w/ 12" rotors
245/50/16 high performance summer tires (hopefully it doesnt snow too much )

I love the G35, both coupe and sedan. There aren't many here in Ohio (but seeing more and more). Personally, the 350z looks a little too much like a matchbox car for me. I just get that feeling from it. I'd rather have the G35 even though it looks less sporty.

These things are all over the east coast, though, for some reason. I see lots of Nissans/Subarus and whatnot out there that you don't see much of here in the interior.

I am about to graduate with an aerospace engineering degree. Working hard and splitting rent leaves a decent amount as "surplus"

Thanks. My friend has grand prix too and runs 12.7 @ 110. A few other guys have made it into the 10s.

Since you are an aerospace engineer, I take it your GP has spoilers and wings and stuff right?

What car would be complete with out a 3 deck spoiler? Seriously though, no spoiler, just the stock deck lid. I never saw the appeal of apperance mods. I'd rather have the car go fast as opposed to look fast.

Good decision getting the sedan. The coupe is a huge waste. It weighs the same and is the same size and wheelbase, with less space. With the sedan you're getting MORE for your money, and it can be Qshippish.

BTW, did you lease it or buy it? When I was searching for my G35 from private owners, most had leased one and were looking for someone to take over to buy the car from the bank.

I leased this one. Its only going to be a weekend/backup car. My BMW ended up being a huge moneypit over the course of ownership. I think I sank about $7K into it in repairs and when I traded it in, it probably needed a new clutch, radiator, lights, etc. I'm willing to pay a little more to not deal with the hassles of long term ownership anymore, at least for the second car.

Very nice. My dad has an '04 coupe, so I drive that around a bit. It'll be mine when the lease on my car runs out (in like 2 years ).

I love the new rear end on the sedans though.

My wife drove it last.

She must be tiny. I wouldn't even be able to get into that car lol.

Hehe. She's 5'4". Its always a pain to get into the seat right after she uses it. I always smash my hip against the steering wheel which is why I made sure to get the memory seat option. My BMW didn't have it and it was such a hassle having to readjust the seat and mirrors everytime we alternated driving.

How's Afghanistan btw? You holding out ok?
