Not alot, but to an extent. Through human eyes, you wouldn't be able to depict any vast differences between 512 and 1 gig.

Dude RAM isnt all about FPS, its about load times and stuttering.

When I went and SLId my pci and integrated graphics with my gig of ram, my computer could notice the difference over 24 fps. He still can't tell if the frame is blurred or not until I pause my games. When I finally SLI my dual channel, my stuttering should go away, right?

Hey, i noticed you're only running 3dmark in SM2...run it in SM3, it will boost performance.

i got a -4021 on my Compaq presario XXXX with a buolt in video card of 8mb. =)

The frames were so slow i went to walmart and shopped for a good hour and it was still in the first second of the test.

I've gotten ~4100 with my 6600GT. OC'd to 610/1220. I havent been able to get any higher on that card though without artifacts . I run it at 580/1180 for every day gaming.

I get about 4500 with my X800 GT overclocked to 560/526, about 3900 without the overclock. (default 3dmark05 settings) This is with no other components overclocked.

I was able to get a score of ~4220 with my 6600gt. oc'ing helped; it was at 2900 before - bleh. lol nice overclocks everyone. now if i could only get my hands on some new parts...

I have a 6600GT Extreme Edition and only get 4052 with it oc'ed to 580/1.15

my X800XL got a 5,000 in the 3dmark05

Lets see, on my system with a 6600Gt at 596mhz/1044mhz with stock cooling, and my cpu at 2366mhz with a 205mhz fsb (loose timings) I got 3789.
At 2228mhz with a 222mhz fsb I got 3657. (same timings)
At the same speed but with a memory divider to run the memory at half speed with extremely aggressive timings, I got 3576, but the cpu score dipped to around 2900, wheres it was around 3700 for the previous test. Hmm, if the 3d and cpu scores are anything to go by, my video card and cpu are well matched. Bah, I could still benefit from a better video card, but I'll wait till DDR2 athlon 64s to make a complete overhall of mym system.

What's the top scoring video card in 3dmark right now? I'd like to have at least 2x-3x the performance of my 6600gt when I upgrade.
