Woohoo, possiblity of getting a $1500 bonus this month

Our company goal for the month is $1.31 million net. We missed our goal last month by $3k. So if we hit our goal this month, that's $1000 plus my monthly regular bonus of $500. This extra $1500 would definitely be nice.

Our company just announced Profit Sharing amounts today. We're down a bit from previous years, but are getting about 2.7% of last years pay on our next checks.

The company I work for gave out 32% profit sharing bonuses last year. Too bad I didn't qualify (I started in September, the cutoff date was July 1st).

I've gotten bonuses totalling over $19k over the last 4 years. Gotta love working in the Oil & Gas industry in the debt free province of Alberta. :thumbsup:

I do helpdesk for our IT dept. My monthly bonus is given based on helpdesk tasks assigned to me by my supervisor. These are just simple tasks like making sure all virus defs are up to date, resolving hardware problems and general maintenance of our work area. As you can see these all fall under the typical job duties I should be doing every day yet I'm getting paid extra for doing.

I was hired in mid Sept and started receiving bonus benefits in Jan 05 and haven't missed one month ever since so total bonus paid to date is $7k.
