I've been married for 2 years now and found out that my wife if pregnant.
This is some very exciting news.

So, I went to the pub with a couple of friends and had some pints while my wife was at the doctor (too far from work for me to make it in time).

As I am enjoying a pint, my wife called to let me know that she is in fact pregnant and 8 weeks along. I know it is early, but I'm excited.

She proceeded to ask me if my family had a propensity for twins, and I said no, and thought nothing of it.

Well, the doctor did his scan and lo an behold, there are 2 masses.
TWINS IT IS.

Right now I am in a state of shock. My wife literally just started her new job a couple of weeks ago and this happens. Talk about bizarre timing. We have been trying for about a year now, and it happens right after she starts her job. I was in the process of planning a trip to Sweden to visit some friends this fall as well. Guess that is out the window.

WOW.

Time for more beer. Knowing my luck it is going to be 2 girls and they will be cute which will make my life all the more interesting.
