Just got a call, I got a job!!! Yay!! I've been out of work for six months, and my unemployment ran out this week. I was starting to get a bit concerned how I was going to pay rent. Well today I get a call, and I got a job!! Just in time, I'm happy! OK, just had to share that. For the unemployed out there, there is hope!

I'm doing software deployments at Kaiser. Not exactly sure what software this project is rolling out. It's not super glamarous work, but it's somewhat in my field, and a great foot in the door at big company. It's a contract position, but the manager told me there's a good chance it can go permanent, or at the very least they will keep giving me new contracts for different projects.

Congratulations. I have a friend that relocated from Georgia to California to work for Kaiser as a citrix engineer. He was out of work for a long time and was very happy to move he and his family to start working in his field again.
