Heheh...anyway, I drive my cars until they die, and I've had 8 years with the Cherokee. Best car I've ever owned, but it was starting to get a zillion little things wrong with it. When the air compressor started going out, I said "That's it...time for another one." Problem is I don't care for the new Grand Cherokee's, and the Liberty's are way too small (I use the car for light hauling on the weekends- when I do my Lowes and Home Depot runs ). I ended up getting a ultra luxury SUV for the same price as I paid for the Cherokee 8 years ago.
I don't know that I'd call it "ultra luxury." It's still got the SRX arranged above it. And then there's a multitude of Euros that cost more than double what a Trailblazer costs.
I like the I6 in them though. I heard one with dual exhaust, it sings like an i6, but because it has the displacement of a v8, it sounds... large. It's strange.
I'd call it ultra luxury because I'm coming from a plain Cherokee and going into a premium leather interior,
Blose sound system with DVD, 2 driver memory position, front/passenger/rear climate control, auto switching 2wd/4wd/AWD, 3 yr Onstar subscription, integrated hands free cell phone, backup obstruction detection w/ adjusting mirrors (mirrors go down when going in reverse and you get a variable pitched squeal over the speakers the closer you come to backing into something)...like I said, lots of things I've never seen in a car before.
I recorded a bunch of Simpsons sound effects on the console voice recorder...been having fun playing those when the situation calls for one.
