Congrats! My friend has one. You get a lot of car for the money, but after sitting in the 328i, C350, and A4, my heart was still set on the IS350, although I'm pretty far off from affording it (I'm only 16).

and you intend on getting a 40k car at 16... exactly how?

He isn't. His parents are getting it, same as all these highschool and college kids driving BMW and Lexus. But hey if he can get it on his own, without his parents subsidizing the car payment or insurance, more power to him! One thing I can't stand is kids who brag about their 'benz' like it's their own when their parents pay like 75% of their car payment and insurance, which for that age costs more than the car.

The kind of people I love eating alive in my cammed and KB'ed 03 Cobra when they rev their $50,000 4,000lb V6 at me because it has blue headlights and a gold emblem on the trunk.

What is it with people who think because they have a car that has 30 more HP and cost $30,000 more than the average passenger car, that makes them think they are automatically better and faster than everyone else? I swear alot of the younger snots around here think BMW = better = pwns everything else and they don't even know what HP is much less what kind of engine their car has.

Just because you've been smoking Camry's and Altima's all day long the moment you drove off the lot doesn't mean you can go revving next to a car that is MADE for wasting your ass

Nice looking car. I sometimes miss my '02 A4. It was a beautiful car and I loved it. But it didn't love me back. Constant problems, especially after going out of warranty ($1000 in the first 4 months). I had to give her up and get a japanese car. I hope your luck is better than mine!

Nice car. Congrats! Personally, I probably would have gone with the Lexus IS350 though. You could get that with NAV for about what you paid for the Audi. My wife and I have the IS250...kind of wish we bought the IS350 though. Obligatory pic of our cars.

BTW-18" wheels? Those tires are going to set you back some serious coin when it comes time to replace them.

Not a big fan of the Lexus or most Japanese cars......plus the 350 isn't AWD......only the 250.

Plus the audi has great financing deals which Lexus doesn't.

Anything else............AUTO or die!

/thread.

P.S. Nice car!!

BAN! Auto only should be fitted on commuter cars. Any sport cars should have manual gearbox on it.

Actually, real sports cars don't give you the option. This is not a sports car. It's a sporty sedan.

To each his own. Financing wasn't bad on the Lexus actually. What is your interest rate?

Personally, I'm trying to figure out how I can get a Lotus Elise in my garage. Now that's a sports car!!!

Leased it.....I like to change cars a lot and the deals were really good from audi right now.

There are tons of the Lotus' at my work, and about 30 at the dealer down the street. Fast, but nothing fun to commute in. Just get a crotch rocket.

I wouldn't commute in it. Just want it as a third car/weekend car.

Edit-Oh, and we bought the Lexus and are very close to owning the Maxima outright (2003 I purchased new).

Looks great in white. Audi's recent offerings are some of the best looking cars on the road.

Isn't it great having a new car? Mine was my first new car, and my first different car in 14 years...

You should read up on that direct injection if you are into cars at all...it's quite interesting. As of now, only Mazda and VW/Audi are using it...

Don't forget GM. They use it on the turbo 2.0 that's in the Solstice/Sky.
