The AutoTip with Paddle's is very fun to drive and I really enjoy it.

OMFG! I just got my first 6 speed manual in the Speed 6, and I freakin' love it! The clutch is super light so it's not a hassle at all in stop and go traffic...

To each their own I suppose...

I'll NEVER own a automatic car...

Congrats! My friend has one. You get a lot of car for the money, but after sitting in the 328i, C350, and A4, my heart was still set on the IS350, although I'm pretty far off from affording it (I'm only 16).

Reallly? I drove the 07 MazdaSpeed 6 and I did not like the clutch at all, felt like a heavy racing clutch....and I test drove it in Rush Hour and it wasn't fun for stop and go.

On a side note, the Speed6 is a sweet car, but as fast as it was, I didn't like the style or look, so I couldn't pull the trigger.

and you intend on getting a 40k car at 16... exactly how?

Really? My only complaint is that it grabs too high, but it's easily adjusted and I will be doing so once the weather gets better around here. Also, beware, a lot of dealers just fill them up with 87 Octane, and it will have pretty much zero boost with that. It cuts all boost over like 2500RPM with 87, and it runs about 1/2 boost with 91.

I'm coming from a '92 Mustang GT with a cable clutch, so maybe compared to that it's easy. Did you think it was physically hard to move the pedal, or just that it was very off/on?

Go drive a VW or Audi Manual, much better feel. Same with the Subaru.

I felt the clutch was heavy and very "on/off".......great if you are racing, crappy if you are in stop and go.

I'm going to have to disagree with you completely. I've been driving mine around in stop and go for a few weeks now, and even though I'd prefer it to grab lower, I think it's the smoothest, easiest effort clutch I've used. I guess everyone has their own preference.

I drove a Legacy GT and the clutch on that was sloppy IMO. I never drove a VW or Audi because I'd never buy one. When I buy a car, I keep it for 10 years or more...Audi and VW seem to have too many reliability issues, and they are even more expensive to fix.

Sloppy? Hmm, I was looking at getting a WRX or Legacy GT in the next year - year and a half... I guess I'll find out for myself in the test drive.

Oh, and nice car OP.

Yeah. It may have been the car, but it didn't have a real good feel to it when it was starting to grab...kinda hard to explain.

Like I said before, I am coming from a 14 year old modified Mustang with a cable operated clutch that is like a truck clutch. My left leg is bigger than my right...

P.S. Nice car!!

BAN! Auto only should be fitted on commuter cars. Any sport cars should have manual gearbox on it.

how much did you get it for?

Let's just say upper 30's........MSRP was 41600.

I got a great deal though, the dealer messed up my paperwork, and it should've been another $40 a month, but I told them I would walk if they broke their word on the deal....

Barrier Audi was great.

I love the Automatic, it has Paddle shifting and it's very responsive. I drive 50+ miles a day so I get tired of sitting in Seattle Traffic with a stick.

Thats cool man. Paddle shifting is also a lot of fun, and as you said, its a much better option for you than a stick. But next time, please do the car justice and hold the damn camera steady! haha nice car man, props I am sure you will love it.

PS - Whos scion :disgust:

Nice car, what does S-Line trim mean though?

Plan on any mods? Maybe a cat back and a chip?

For those wanting more, Audi offers three main option packages. The S line Package includes sport suspension tuning, 18-inch wheels with 235/40 performance tires, unique front and rear fascias and aluminum cabin accents.

the only thing i don't like about the "S-Line" trim is that every time I see an A4 with an S-Line trim, I think it's an S4... which it certainly isn't

i just look at the distinctive "S" logo.
