I've been doing this woot stuff since u guys were just nut stains in your mommas panties. I dunno about ya'll but its impossible to get the Bag o' Crap. i tried the last 3 times and "server busy " all the time. It sux. my connection at work is slow.Last time they gave away a bunch of roombas. and a couple of wii's. Good luck on gettin that and that printer is almost done with now.

I'm not going to bother trying to get one of those the Bags Of Crap anymore. From what I can figure, the odds go something like this:

About 500,000 people try to get the BOC.
4,500 people actually GET the BOC. That's less than 1%, with everyone else getting a "Server Too Busy" error message.
About 10 people actually get something valuable in their BOC. That's less than .25% of all the people who get a BOC.

In order words, it's in 1 in 50,000 odds of getting something good when you try to get a Bag Of Crap. With odds like that, you're better off buying $8 worth of lottery tickets.

As far as the BoC, I have a suggestion for you. If you're using firefox, type in about:config. When the options come up, search for 'pipe'. You should have three options:

network.http.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
network.http.proxy.pipelining

Set 1 and 3 to true by double clicking on them and set max request to 16. It should help you get a response back faster. I set this on mine and it made a noticeable difference during wootoffs (I've managed to get the BoC personally). From what I hear it can make other sites load screwy, but you can turn it off later.
