Oh yea, ease up on the comma usage just a bit.

I know how they've become "juristic persons". I don't agree with it, in it's present incarnation. Simply because a court has ruled on an issue, doesn't mean it hasn't become perverted in it's subsequent application.
People are kept in check by their inability to grossly affect public policy, one person = one vote, to wit; in order to make said change, you need to convince enough of the other citizens to agree with you, then effect change within the system.
Corporations on the other hand, use money as a substitute for Ballots and by extension, numbers of other citizens that agree with their position. This short circuits the actual process of one vote per citizen and substitutes Dollars for Voice
Furthermore, and more compelling ,imo, is the fact that Corporations are intrinsically Anti- Social in their "Profits above all other considerations" model. An actual human person, who adopts that sort of behavior is considered sociopathic at worst, selfish and greedy at best and in either case, not someopne we wouldconsider as part of the group whole.
I do not understand why we favor companies, wiht no real interest in the common good aka Society, over people, who actually make up the "Common Good".

I never realized how offended Polish people could get over Polish jokes, until one morning about 20 years ago, I had stopped at the mini-mart on my way to work for gas. The guy I carpooled with and I were telling Polish jokes while I filled the tank.
Some guy pulls in at the pump next to me and listens for a minute, then says to me, "Hey, I'm Polish, and I find those kinds of jokes offensive. I really wish you'd stop." Then he left and went into the store...My buddy and I ignore the jerk and continue telling Polack jokes...
He comes back out of the store, hears that we're STILL telling Polack jokes, and says, "OK asshole, I TRIED to be nice about this, but I guess the only thing left is to take you behind the store and kick your ass." Hell, I'm running early for work, so he and I head out back.
As soon as we get behind the store, the fucker pulls a razor...
The ONLY reason I'm here to tell this story, is there was no place for him to plug it in..................

How am I acting in a racist manner? How does me not having a diverse group of friends make me racist? I don't think that I am innately better than another racial group, it just so happens that the people I get along best with happen to be of my same background.
