One of the three actual rights is the right to "happiness" (generally make choices as to the disposition of my own assets). The fed gov't doesn't have the authority to make choices as to what bulb or toilet or car I buy or choose not to buy. I can throw a dead incandescent into the trash - done. I can't with CFL (must have a dozen dead ones around here), case won right there IMO. No shortage of water around here - case made for whatever toilet I want. Such issues as the latter should be handled in the areas where it should be handled (closest one to the issue, usually at state level or lower). Instead, we have the fed. gov't putting lower animals over human lives as in the California farmers. All just variants on the same federal overreaching... FFs are spinning in their graves - may even be the cause of GW/CC ;-) .
