Mine too.. I could care less what someone's IQ is. Look at Mensa.. there's a bunch of idiots in their little club - some are garbage men and bartenders and gas station attendants.. I mean I wonder how many people are working for someone with a lower IQ than theirs. IQ says nothing about how you cope with society. IQ doesn't prevent you from getting beat down by a big dumb oaf.

This is only the average of test scores in the past year. I don't know how accurate these numbers really are but I'm thinking there's a lot of people in China, N. Korea, etc. that didn't take a test. So I don't see much value in them really...

there's a lot of people in any country that didn't take a test.... i haven't, and i'm in america. but i agree, IQ is useless in general.

Nope, my large body size does. My IQ (~150) helps me in other areas.

oh btw, Joking about a Cultures dietary habits when the discussion is IQ's vs when the discussion is 100+ people dying are not the same. hence it isn't hypocrisy.

These scores aren't low.. If I remember correctly, the IQ test is always adjusted such that 100 is the mean score. Also, IQ tests measure a person's way of thinking so schooling does not affect your score. Apparently if you get tested at a young age the score you get should stay pretty much constant as you get older.

The test isn't perfect.. you can always get better scores by taking the test a lot and getting the hang out of the type of puzzles they have. So yeah if someone has a high IQ score it doesn't mean they'll be rich. Similarly, you can have a hard working CEO with a low IQ score.

To me it seems to fit pretty well. How much money is spent on education and how much of a priority it is.

I brought my Kids from Korea to the US because I know for a fact that my kids will get a better education in the US than they would have in Korea. The educational system in Korea is stricter and has higher requirements but students have better exposure to more educational opportunities in US than in Korea.

Stricter is not better.
