Even if they DID eat dog, so what? It's another culture, they might consider different things food. Just because the "West" for the most part considers dogs pets doesn't mean they wouldn't be considered something else womwhere else. We eat goats and sheep, which are considered pets in other places. It's all about multi-culturalism and accepting that what you consider "right" isn't always what other people do.

Maybe they didn't test well there because the people administering the IQ tests didn't translate it well to their native language and they coudln't read it.

Yep. If the IQ test was perfect, which they never are, you'd see the numbers very close with small differences here and there for errors, or if some nations truly do have more intelligent individuals than others, but no way those numbers are accurate.

IQ tests also tend to be flawed because they don't change examples into things other cultures can understand. If you have an example of how and why a baseball flies and on which principles of physics it uses, then someone from Africa is less likely to have any idea of what the hell it is than if you asked about something they would know more about.

My example was pulled outta left field; I have no idea if that's an actual example from a test.

Well, since none of you has the balls to say it, I will:

Average intelligence is correlated (at least partially) to race and it goes something like this (very roughly):

ASIANS > WHITES > BLACKS

Now go back and look at the list that was posted here and think about it.

See my sconed post. It's all about the CONTENT of the test. There is no in-born mental deficiency based on race. By individual, sure, but not by race. To think so is just foolish. Standard of living, economy, poverty level, education level, etc. are factors, and unfortunately tend to skew along race lines, so THAT'S why the numbers would be off. NOT because of race.

The only true differences in race are what climates the people were exposed to. People in Africa = rally hot sun, so, as protection their skin darkens so it isn't as impacted by the sun. People in northern climates = not so much sun, so their skin lightens so they can gain any and all advantages from what little sun they get exposed to. Same thing for disease, immunities and lifestyle. It's all about environment.
