shoot, i gotta double check my box when I get home...on the cover it says something like "10 day guest pass free, etc etc"...but i can't remember if I had a piece of paper w/ a CD key on it. Are we allowed to add that 10 days to our current account?

No the pass must be used to generate a new account...not extend a current one. Although...I guess you can start out with a guest 10 day...then when that time is over...use ur retail key to extend it another month. I think that would work.

Yep, still up and running with no problems. It shows the 30 days as pending until my 10 days runs out, and of course my recurring bill as pending. I had my wife check and apparently what I'm seeing is normal. I think it would have told me the key was invalid when I initially entered it. I'll be pretty pissed if it tells me on the 11th that all of a sudden the cd key is invalid.

I don't think that will happen though. I suspect somebody tried the game using the 10 day guest pass, didn't like it and returned it without ever entering the retail cd key. It looks like I saved $20 getting it from Consumerdepot. As for the other copies they are selling I don't know if I just got lucky or if they are all like that.

don't do it, frends got free wow by writing down key then returning it for exchange at walmart.

mine arrived on thursday, but had to wait til friday to get it, consumerdepot would not release without a signature. registered the game, and been playing it this weekend without a problem. great deal for anybody who's interested in saving a few bucks

i think you can exchange it if it's "defective"....that's probably what they said, "it doesn't work!"

30 days free. After that it's $14.95 a month if you pay monthly. $13.95 if you pay in 3 month blocks, and $12.95 if you pay in 6 month blocks.
