Well put!!

We can use all the help we can get! Lately we've been getting pummelled by Free-DC and US-Distributed.

And the top 20 DC teams will receive a special certificate different from that which everyone else will receive.

Neither can I. About par for this project - I complained many times in the past that my systems spend majority of time looking for SuperNode. Even www.chessbrain.net is down. Glad I busted a$$ to get clients setup.

I think the weird GM moves by the GM overheated chessbrain!

Sing to the appropriate tune:

"All around the internet,
The thought they had a record.
Too many people wanted to join,
CRASH! goes the server."

FYI, on one graph I saw, around 2000 machines were trying to work together.

I have had a total of four jobs across ten machines since the record attempt started. The server must not be capable of handling the load.

A quote from their page, with my notes in parentheses:

Our World Record attempt is now complete. We had serious technical difficulties early in the game, but managed to resolve them! (My note: the GM played some weird moves and things crashed in case you didn't see)

The result of the game was a draw. (Interesting that the GM sac'ed a few pieces and a Rook to create the draw. Perhaps he thought he saw something? Perhaps he thought Chessbrain wouldn't? In any case, I had to leave and work with my chess kids after move 32, and we decided that the best outcome was a draw. Agreed to after move 34.)

ChessBrain's new official record now stands at 2070 machines from over 50 different countries. We'll prepare a full report in the next few hours.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make this possible.

rockyfort / Bob
