Continue your personal attacks; I challenge anyone to discredit my statements in a mature, non-blindly-patriotic manner. I know it is a difficult feat for one to look critically on his country, especially when countries like America BRAINWASH their citizens. I challenge you to think critically if you believe the US has been justified in creating monstrosities tenfold the severity of this one.
How about this, I'd like YOU to back up some of YOUR statements...
Here's a couple:
The US blew up its own ship, the U.S.S. Maine, to start the Spanish-American War and STEAL a sphere of influence in Latin America.
So, the US did this on purpose, eh? Where's your proof or even hint of proof?
The US provoked war with Japan (by cutting off its oil and supplies) to commence Pearl Harbor and its profitable involvement in WWII.
Hello? So you're saying Japan didn't already have any plans to fight with America? Are you saying that Japan and Germany and company and what they were doing was perfectly justified? Are you saying it's perfectly justified for a country to attack another country for imposing a country-to-country embargo? Keeping in mind part of the reason for the embargo was to get Japan to get out of China? In addition, did the US even impose the embargo? EDIT: Never mind, I found a link saying an embargo was in place... The other questions still stand.
Seems like you're defending the Japanese and their monstrosities in China during the late '30s and '40s... Don't know about them? Maybe YOU should try to read some history (try the Rape of Nanking)...
Here's a quote:
In July 1941, the U.S. threatened Japan with an oil embargo unless Japan withdrew from China. Rather than withdraw from China and abandon its imperialist aspirations, Japan chose to attack the U.S. while it still had the oil reserves needed to wage war.
I haven't done any research on the others, but I sure that their are arguments against your other points, too... Does that mean the U.S. is a nation of angels and never does anything wrong?
No, but I would be a little chary before I start throwing unfounded accusations around... Especially as you're using American boards to post to a largely American audience from an American city which just suffered the worst of the terrorists attacks...
