I walked and on the Brooklyn Bridge they reopened the trains, however, most roads are closed and it is still a state of emergency. Plus, I'm Russian born in England and one of my friends is Arabic and religious oh god how much bs this is causing between my other friends from college. All this stress, I dont want to blame it on all the people but them celebrating on the street about this is down right disgusting. I can form generalizations when you see stuff like this. I first heard the news at school around 10 Central when a guy walked into the lab and said that the Treasury was on fire. As some started to go online, they discovered the truth, that thousands may have lost their lives in a multiple cowardly terrorist attacks.

My heart and condolences go out to all the victims... including the families.

This is.... unbelievable. Although I'm not an American citizen, but I've been here long enough to have many close friends and "families" and loved ones. I don't even think of US as another country... it's just a second home to me now, with families and friends and loved ones. I'm thankful that none of my loved ones were physically injured (many live near Pittsburgh). I can't help sobbing for what has happened... I pray for those who fell victim to such a brutal act of inhumanity...

I cannot believe someone.. anyone.. would have the heart to create an operation like this, and actually follow through...

If it's one of those religious groups... they need to die. Cannot believe people would orchestrate and kill such numbers of innocent people IN THE NAME OF GOD! Fvcked UP!!!!!!

British Prime Minister Tony Blair said in his speech that this is a fight for all the free countries of the world against terrorism and I completely agree.

This happened in America, but it could have happened anywhere in the western world (hell, it still could happen). Bin Laden has made threats against Britain as well as America. I say we all get together and wipe them out before they can do any more damage.

We can't reach a truce with cowards who will never even discuss anything with us in the first place.

If we didn't fight in WWI and WWII, who knows where we'd be now, but we'd be speaking German. War saved our asses, and the lives of countless Jews who were being slaughtered at a pretty alarming rate.

Regardless of who actually caused these terrorist attacks (something I suspect it will take quite a while to establish) I hope those celebrating Palestinians come to realize that THEIR actions will have set back American support for their cause enormously. What those fools are in fact celebrating is the sealing of their childrens' children fate-to spend their entire life as refugees in squalid camps. I guess we "Ugly Americans" don't hold a monopoly on being insensitive.

The clock on US-Palestinian relations will be turned back by decades, esp. after the celebrating videos get rerun over and over again on the news specials that will be on tonight.
