That's not slick at all. I guess if you're part of today's "Look at me! Look at me!" myspace generation that can be considered slick, but in my book, a personal moment such as a marriage proposal should be intimate, not some spectacle.
Translation: That's better than anything I'll ever be able to achieve so I hate him for it.
You were actually impressed by that video?
It was better than how I proposed (in a mall in front of the jewlery store), and I'm sure it was/will be better than you do too.

To be honest, I didn't realize there was such heavy competition over who has the "better" marriage proposal. Like I said, I feel that it should be a moment shared between two individuals, but I guess I'm alone in that.

While probably fake, this whole thread pissed me off.
To the lot of you saying that divorce is imminent, why do you say these things? Do you get off on the failure of others? It seems like a lot of you almost *hope* that they will fail. Why? Just because of the way that he proposed to her? What business is it of yours???
Or is it just the fact that you can't get a girl to give you the time of day? Or maybe your marriage failed because you ignored her and played WOW all day.
Lay off of people, let them do what makes THEM happy. If they are certain that after only a year of marriage, they are right for each other, good for them. I *hate* how everyone here thinks that they are dating/relationship coaches when most of them get all of their life-essential information from this very website.
God, sometimes you people annoy the fvck out of me.

Oh, and speaking of which, just because someone is in shape, hangs out with a good looking woman, can sing, and can dress himself neatly does not make him gay.
And furthermore, what's the problem if he IS gay?
