Case in point. Someone does something you think is stupid but that doesn't mean they are stupid. It just means you have your head up your ass since you can't separate actual stupidity from a difference in preferences or lifestyle choices. I can't find the statistic but I remember from a class in college that the length of the relationship before getting married made almost no difference after a certain point, which was less than a year for sure.
