Yea, those are decent sized tickets on my brother's part...
But i know this much, i speed more than he does all the time, but i've cut it down quite a bit now...it ain't worth it...

I got caught for 17 over...67 in a 50, the cop gave me a ticket for 60 in a 50 and it cost either 150 or 175, I forget.

This was up in Michigan, and no traffic school

I also got a caught for 81 in a 70 out in Montana, but the cop gave me a 80 in a 70 so I wouldn't affect my insurance (in Montana, 10 and under doesnt affect insurance, no points, just a $20 fine )

Yeah, PA tickets are nasty. The usual fine runs around $50, but once you tack on the court fees, DUI prevention fund, Highway improvment fund, and modernization surcharges... You're easily talking $150.

So, when you get a ticket in PA, you're not just getting a fine, you're making some manditory "donations"! How nice of them

Boston to NY last sunday driving at 120kmph - fine $265. Hey it was a thrill for about 5 seconds!! The cop car had black tinted windows, all black, now way it looked like a cop car.....cop was for real though!

where i lived you can go 20-25 miles over the speed limit and the cops completely ignore you.
thats right folks 55 limit, most ppl doing 75-80 .you guys must live in a very strict area where even 10 over speed limit will get you a ticket which imo is ridiculously silly. sometime the speed limit is too high
say 55 in an some area that you can't go faster then 40 at most due to narrow turns and road is very small too. most of them that wanna pull you over, basically just there to get speeder and sometime if they can't find any speeder to pull over, the unfortunate folks that usually get 10 or a little over say 11
will get pulled over. this is extra money for them and the county. they get 50/50 of what it cost someone when they are fined.

damn, in april i got a ticket for doing 65 in a 45 MPH zone. i was trying to pass a drunk driver and bam, the SOB cop nailed me. :|

i guess he would rather have that drunk driver kill innocent pedestrians, than to give me a ticket for speeding, while not under the influence.
