Worst game you've ever played?

I know this will not go over well here, but Crysis is by far the worst game I ever played. It was hyped so much, but man I just thought it sucked. The graphics were not evo nor revolutionary to me. The gameplay was boring and tiresome.

While it wasn't the worst game ever I also think Crysis (and FarCry) was pretty boring. Take out the graphics and what's left is pretty generic IMO. Well I guess the super suit was neat... maybe?

Didn't like Dragon Age, Farcry 2 and Fallout. Guess I'm not a big RPG fan after all.

To be honest, I loved Crysis and Farcry. It had nothing to do with the graphics though. It was the fact that they were very open ended, and let you decide your own strategy to accomplish the goals that were set, rather than pidgeon hole you into a specific solution.

Although playable, Starcraft II is up there for shear disappointment. They totally ruined the experience for me with a really, really sub-par online element.

Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor.

Not only was the gameplay atrocious, it had a nasty habit of wiping your hard drive when you tried to uninstall the game.

I loved this game. Loved all the D & D style games of that time though, and especially loved Buck Rogers.

Wrong Pool of Radiance Slag. Myth Drannor was only a few years ago, not back in the gold box series. And yeah, Buck Rogers was pretty damn cool for way back when. Heck, you could cripple an enemy spaceship, then board it and capture in the random encounters. That's something for an RPG.

I just stopped playing it after that. I ran a game server when 1.5 was going, but it completely broke all compatibility with plugins and bots when it switched over to 1.6. The server totally died and it never came back.

I think a lot of people misunderstand the meaning of this thread - WORST game ever, not most overrated or overhyped, but WORST. If Crysis or similar is the worst game you've ever played then you have had a sheltered gaming life.

man i loved shields. not my fault people didn't know how to beat them. all you had to do was dance around in a circle and take a pot shot every now and then. eventually, you'd flank.

but no, people walked straight up to the shield and emptied their mags. then got shot in the face when they went to reload.

LOL good luck trying to flank me from 30 yards away. Also, your pot shots don't help because I can shoot back while the shield covers 90% of me.

oh, sorry, I stand corrected. Glad to see we both loved the old D & D games though I got Buck Rogers one year for Christmas and remember that disk 2 was corrupted and I had to wait like 2 weeks for the company to send me a new disk. I was so anxious to get it and, if that happened today, I could download the new disk in one second.

I really enjoy the game, but I do agree that they really fucked up the online part of the game.

As for Spore I thought it was pretty fun for the first couple of evolutionary links, but then when you have to customize everything in the world is just got boring as shit.

People are confusing "Worst game ever" with "I didn't enjoy the game". If you think SC2 and Farcry, Dragons age are the worst games ever, you need to stick to solitaire and take what ever is in your behind, out.
