The worst gifts I've received are cheap crappy personal items. For example, a crappy $10 wallet. Uhm... yeah... I'm not going to stop using my very nice wallet and use that instead.

Let's hear it - What are the worst holiday gifts you've received? Not just this year, but ever.
I'll start:
This year from a sibling I received an HD-DVD of a popular movie, still sealed.
I don't (and never did) have an HD-DVD player.
They stopped production on players and media in 2008. 5 years ago.
I wonder where they even got it...
this is horrible re-gifting. my sister always gets me good presents, my brothers dont have a lot of money. one i know not to expect from but we get along fine, the other will usually at least get me a nice craft beer or something so we can have a good drink together.
my parents were giving me star wars stuff well into my 20s, that was ....it was just really odd. but i think the worst i got was year before last: some friends i had spent loads of time with for a few years gave me freebies that came with their hockey season ticket holder package: a single voucher (i have 2 kids that i brought over a lot who played with their kids, so that was just strange) and some bobble heads that you get free if you show up early to the games.
kinda knew the friendship was headed downhill with that, and sure enough, i do not associate myself with them anymore...but it was a lousy gift.
