many consider the 2 best bond themes, and awesome songs on their own.

Sure, Roger Moore was the worst, pedo-like Bond, but the music was damn good. Duran Duran, even.

As do most...but it's kind of misleading. Especially when I've had too much caffeine.

but it is a common misconception, and an invalid defense that people often use, and never understand why they can't use such a thing in a debate (not that this argument matters, mind you)

[x] is awful = declarative statement. This assumes that there is a general consensus that the subject in question is perceived (as in this case) as awful.

I think [x] is awful = perfectly reasonable statement of opinion.

I don't know why I get uppity about this, I just hate seeing a piss-poor defense

I'm listening to it right now and I can tell that they atleast have an average rhythm going, the voices and the "ooohhhhh, ooooooooooooohh" is bad, and the guitar is too random.

After that wtf how is this gonna play during some sort of chase scene its just not gonna be as good as something Cornell could do.

they need to at least stay into the rock genre artists when picking as it is the most successful for actually good bond themes

this is still the best no offense to live and let die or goldfinger but this was the best bond theme so far
